Bell Ranch is approximately an hour from the town of Redstone, a nearby town that also serves as a small and comfortable getaway for many Coloradans.

From Denver International Airport to Redstone and the Bell Ranch

Go west through Denver and up into the mountains on I-70 West. You will go through Idaho Springs and keep going through the Eisenhower Tunnel. Keep going over Vail Pass and through Vail. Keep going through Glenwood Canyon to Exit 116 - Aspen/Glenwood Springs. At the end of the exit, turn right through Glenwood Springs (you are now on Hwy 82 going east). Follow Hwy 82 for about ten more miles to Carbondale (a stoplight) and turn right. You are now on Hwy 133. Follow Hwy 133 through Carbondale and keep going about another 18 miles to Redstone and turn left into the town. There are signs along the highway that will guide you.

To the ranch from Redstone: From town, turn left onto Hwy 133 and follow it to McClure Pass and keep going. At the summit of the pass, check your odometer and go six miles down the pass. Look for a yellow diamond warning sign with a sideways "T" signifying and intersecton on the right. SLOW DOWN, and you will see a sign that says Colbran with an arrow pointing to the right. turn right and you will be on County Road 265.

Check your odometer again and follow Rd. 265 for 14 miles to the Bell Ranch. Here are some landmarks to help you. At about the 6 mile mark, the road forks to the left-DO NOT take it. Keep going straight. At about the 8 mile mark, the road forks to the right. Once again-DO NOT take it. Keep going straight. The road will continue to climb, then you will go down a hill, and you will see a Ranger Station on the right (at about the 10 mile mark). Continue to go straight past the Ranger Station. At about the 12 mile mark, you will see a ranch on the left (The Flying M). Keep going for only 2 more miles. You will be in an aspen forest. Look for the Bell Ranch sign on the left. turn left and follow the driveway for 1 mile to the house. You made it!!

From Aspen to Redstone

From the airport, turn left onto Hwy 82 (going away from the town of Aspen) and follow Hwy 82 for about 28 miles to a stoplight that says Carbondale/Highway 133. Turn left and you will be on Hwy 133. Go through the town of Carbondale and continue on Hwy 133 for about 18 miles to the town of Redstone, and turn left into the town. The sign on the highway will direct you when to turn.
